Large-scale sewage treatment plants need to treat a large amount of domestic sewage and industrial wastewater mixture every day. The water quality is complex and the pollutant content is high. Traditional flocculants are not effective, and it is difficult for the effluent water quality to meet the standard stably. After the plant introduced cationic polyacrylamide (flocculant) from Zibo Aixiang Industry and Trade Co., Ltd., the situation has been greatly improved.
In the primary sedimentation tank, Aixiang Industry and Trade's flocculant quickly took effect after being put into use. Impurities such as suspended sediment and macromolecular organic matter in the sewage were efficiently aggregated to form large and dense alum flowers, which greatly accelerated the sedimentation speed and effectively reduced the load of subsequent biological treatment units. In the secondary sedimentation tank, even in the face of difficult-to-treat substances such as microbial metabolites and residual colloids, the flocculant still performed well, further capturing fine particles, reducing the content of suspended solids in the effluent to an extremely low level, and the chemical oxygen demand (COD) and biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) were also greatly reduced simultaneously.
The technical director of the plant said: "The quality of Aixiang Industry and Trade's products is beyond imagination. They dissolve quickly and leave no impurities. After the dosage is precisely controlled, not only the purification effect is outstanding, but also our chemical costs are reduced. Under long-term stable operation, it helps the sewage plant to stably reach or even exceed the national Class A emission standards, and the surrounding water environment quality has been significantly improved."
