After practical verification by many large sewage treatment plants, after using flocculants containing these two monomers, the removal rate of suspended matter in sewage is increased to more than 95%, and the chemical oxygen demand (COD) can be reduced by 60%, which greatly reduces the pressure of subsequent deep treatment, ensures that sewage is stably discharged in compliance with standards, and protects the urban water environment.
The cationic, anionic, and nonionic polyacrylamide (flocculant) series fully cover different water quality treatment needs. In the field of industrial wastewater treatment, the treatment of heavy metal-containing acidic wastewater in electronics factories has always been a difficult problem. Anionic polyacrylamide can efficiently capture heavy metal ions under acidic conditions to form dense flocs. With the subsequent process, the heavy metal content in the wastewater is reduced to below the national emission standard, which helps the green development of the electronics industry. For the characteristics of food processing wastewater rich in protein and easy emulsification of oil, nonionic polyacrylamide can play its expertise, demulsification and flocculation in one go, reduce the difficulty of wastewater biochemical treatment, and achieve a win-win situation of resource recovery and standard emission.
